Lucknow, December 3, 2024: In a shocking incident from Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, a groom disappeared on his wedding day, leaving the bride’s family devastated. The police have launched a search operation to locate the missing groom.
Wedding Preparations Turn into Chaos
The wedding was scheduled for Thursday, and all arrangements were made as per the plan. The bride, adorned in her wedding attire, eagerly awaited the arrival of the groom. However, as the hours passed, the baraat did not arrive, causing concern among the bride’s relatives.
Father’s Desperate Calls Reveal Shocking Truth
Worried about the delay, the bride’s father repeatedly tried to contact the groom’s father. After numerous attempts, the groom’s father answered the call and delivered unexpected news: the groom had left earlier in the afternoon to pick up his wedding suit from Ganeshganj but never returned. His phone was also switched off.
The groom’s father claimed that he and his relatives were actively searching for him. Hearing this, the bride’s father, a retired government employee, rushed to the groom’s house, overwhelmed with emotions. Upon reaching there, he broke down in tears, devastated by the situation. Guests at the venue tried to console him.
Bride Collapses Three Times
When the bride was informed of the groom’s disappearance, she fainted three times due to the shock. The bride’s family expressed their anguish, stating, “They have left us with no dignity.”
Police Begin Search Operation
The police were alerted about the incident, and a search operation was initiated. The groom’s last known location was traced to the Alambagh Bus Stand. Two police teams are actively working on the case, questioning locals and gathering evidence to trace the missing groom.
Friends Under Investigation
Inspector Dinesh Chandra Mishra from the Wazirganj police station stated that the groom’s friends were being interrogated for any clues about his whereabouts. So far, no significant leads have emerged. The groom was last contacted by the bride’s family before switching off his phone.
